OUR WORK
For over 30 years, Mission Mississippi has worked with churches, organizations, and communities to facilitate conversations across differences, train and equip people to build healthy relationships across divisions, and create opportunities to reflect and highlight oneness in Christ across differences and divisions.
Local Movements
We have movements throughout the state, providing opportunities for you to participate in the work of reconciliation and racial healing. In every city, we aim to build a movement of reconciliation by (1) calling Mississippians to intercede for their community through regular prayer gatherings, (2) informing Mississippians with timeless wisdom rooted in Scripture and knowledge gained through the 30+ years of experience helping people build relationships across differences, and (3) connecting and networking people for sustained intervention that leads to transformed communities. Some of those local movement opportunities include:
- Prayer Gatherings
- Coaching and Training (e.g. "Cultivating Healthy Relationships Across Dividing Lines)
- Table Talk Cohorts
- Service Opportunities (e.g. 4 the City Service Days)

Training

Mission Mississippi provides short and long-term coaching, consulting, and training to both individual leaders and teams that desire to see reconciliation in their churches, businesses, schools, and communities.
Our signature training "Cultivating Healthy Relationships across Dividing Lines” (CHRADL) is a course designed to help you build and strengthen relationships across various types of division including racial, ethnic, cultural, and political. Using biblical wisdom and 30 years of experience encouraging people to pursue racial healing “one relationship at a time”, we navigate through four paradigm shifts that create paths towards unity: Hearing to Listening, Arrogance to Humility, Apathy to Empathy, and Force to Persuasion. This training incorporates lectures, narratives, media, exercises, and facilitated roundtable discussions to create an interactive and productive experience.
Days of Dialogue
Mission Mississippi facilitates and leads half-day and full day honest and healing conversations across differences and divisions intended to share experiences, build trust, cultivate relationships, and spark reconciliation movements in our communities. Contact us today to begin setting up a day of dialogue in your community!
Table Talk Cohorts

The Mission Mississippi Table Talk Cohort Initiative is a program designed to foster deep, ongoing, Christ-centered conversations about race, reconciliation, and community oneness. It brings together small diverse groups of Christians to build relationships of grace, understanding, and trust.
How It Works
- Multiethnic Groups: Each cohort is small and intentionally diverse, representing the beauty of God's creation across racial, ethnic, and denominational lines.
- Monthly Meetings: Groups meet once a month in homes, churches, or community spaces to engage in meaningful discussions.
- Table Talk Cards: Cohorts use Table Talk discussion cards to guide conversations on topics related to oneness, reconciliation, and faith.
Goals of the Initiative
- Cultivate Relationships: Build authentic connections across dividing lines.
- Facilitate Conversations: Create a safe space for open, grace-filled dialogue.
- Promote Reconciliation: Encourage individuals and communities to live out the Gospel through oneness.
- Empower Local Impact: Equip participants to lead reconciliation efforts in their own communities.
